- Ishmaella graduated from Olive Harvey Community College in 2007 with an Associate in Applied Science in Nursing and then received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Governors State University, graduating in 2011. She then went on to complete her Master of Science Degree in Nursing at Governors State University and became certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2017. Ishmaella has 10 years of experience in dialysis, working in the chronic and acute setting as well as peritoneal dialysis. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society, American Nurses Association, and The American Nephrology Nurses Association.
