- Dr. Onyenwenyi graduated from medical school at the University of Lagos, Nigeria where he graduated with honors. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL where he served as Chief Resident. He completed his Nephrology Fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago where he also served as Chief Fellow. Dr. Onyenwenyi is the recipient of numerous teaching and scholastic awards. His areas of interest include acid base and electrolyte disorders, and Interventional Nephrology.
